Stockton, in the intersection of the Delta region of Central California, is the largest city in the state without a public transit system. The city is currently served by three infrequent commuter rail trains, but it has the density for its own light rail system. West of Stockton is the current two-station-long eBART system, which could be extended into two branches to better connect the growing Delta region. This map also incluedes the planned Valley Link train, which would connect Stockton to BART in Dublin via Livermore, creating a comprehensive rail link for the region.
